Hi, I’m Tim Liu: fitness and nutrition coach, pompadour enthusiast, karaoke competitor and lover of bomb ass food and cocktails.
I’ve been coaching busy men and women just like you for over 8 years. My goal in life is to help as many people as possible to get the body that they want without slaving away inside a gym or eating bland diet food because life is too short for that.
As someone who grew up overweight during childhood and throughout college, I know what it’s like to be out of shape and have no confidence. I also know how to get people leaner too, just like my client Geoff:
Here’s a picture of my client Geoff. When he first came to me, he was 210 pounds. He was in the worst shape he had ever been and wanted to make a change. He knew how to work out a little bit and had some idea on how to eat healthy but didn’t know how to piece it all together. Now he’s at 180lbs on the right after going through my coaching program. He knows how to work out properly, how to eat to reach his goals and feels incredible about the progress that he’s made.
My passion for fitness developed when I studied nutrition in college. My mother passed away from stomach cancer when I was 9 years old and I knew there was a link between our diet and disease.
I wanted to help others improve their health through good nutrition. During my college years, I read up on every diet and exercise resource that I could get my hands on.
After experimenting with many diets and workout plans I’ve realized that you don’t need to be super strict or do crazy intense Crossfit or Biggest Loser workouts to get in shape. Not only that, you can still enjoy your favorite foods and drinks during your fitness journey.
If you’re unsure whether or not you can get the results that you want, I totally understand. Especially since if you’ve failed in the past trying fad yo-yo diets, juice cleanses, and gimmicky workouts. However, my coaching is totally different than that, just look at two of my coaching clients, Tyler and Ruby:
Here is Tyler. A year ago Tyler got terribly out of shape and had negative body image issues about himself. Tyler was frustrated whenever he looked in the mirror because he felt awful about himself. On the left he started off at 190lbs. Just a few months later on the right he is 158lbs. He’s now leaner, has more muscle and feels amazing about himself.
Here is Ruby. She works long hours and struggled with not knowing what the best workouts are to do for her busy schedule. Not only that, she didn't know the proper ways to eat for her goals while still living a balanced life. She has done meal plans and workouts before but needed something that fit into her lifestyle, not the other way around.
Meet Lori. a 55 year old busy working professional for a major healthcare company. She reached out to me because she had some major fitness goals she wanted to accomplish. After working with me, she’s gotten leaner, built muscle, and dropped a pants size. Not bad for a 55 year old eh?
As you can see, you can still get great results without doing crazy intense workouts or eating only steamed bland chicken breasts and broccoli. However, If you do like bland chicken breasts and broccoli, more power to you.

And nutrition is even harder. There’s so much information out there it’s hard to know what’s real. But that’s not the worst of it. The REAL problem is that there are so many legit approaches that work. But they don’t work for EVERYONE. When we work together, we will finding the one that’s right for you especially since real life gets in the way. Work meetings, eating out with friends, dates, festivals, vacations, family functions all come into play. Luckily I will teach you how to make the right food choices while still enjoying what you want on your fitness journey.
